EOBI has released its statistics for Employers, Insured Persons and Pensioners who are registered with EOBI. This data shows an increase in the number of employers and insured persons as well as increase in the number of pensioners.
According to the brief statistics, the number of registered employers stand at 140,517 out of which 92,626 employers are Active while 43,834 units are closed currently. 4,044 units have been de-registered i.e. their registration has been cancelled.

The number of Insured Persons are currently 9,886,259 out of which 9,176,081 are those who have not received any sort of benefit from EOBI.

Similarly around 457,842 pensioners have been issued Old Age pension while 241,306 pensioners receive Survivor Pension. Moreover, the number of pensioners who are receiving invalidity pension is 12,042 only.

The above statistics are the latest available data shared by EOBI. These statistics will be updated whenever the recent data is announced by EOBI.
Insured person are those workers in whose respect EOBI Contribution is submitted by the employers to EOBI.
